BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association is governed by a volunteer Board of dedicated individuals elected by the members of the Association. The sitting directors are all owners or managers of accommodations in British Columbia, plus one supplier category director.
From 2014 to 2023 Jamie Cox managed Gallagher Lake Resort, near Oliver in the South Okanagan, owned by Parkbridge Lifestyles. In 2023 he made a career change and became the new General Manager at St. Andrews by the Lake Golf Resort near Kaleden. Jamie has served the past four years as BCLCA President.
Angie, is the Managing Partner at Peachland RV Park, a recently opened RV Park located in Peachland, B.C., featuring 81 sites. With over 20 years of experience in the recreation industry, Angie has played a key role in building, operating, and managing pools, parks, playgrounds, and recreation facilities throughout Alberta. Currently the CEO of St. Eugene Golf Resort Casino, which operates St. Eugene KOA. Born in The Netherlands, Sandra’s career started in the Casino business in 1991 at Holland Casino. In 2010, Sandra joined St. Eugene Golf Resort Casino in the capacity of Casino General Manager. In 2012 the Hotel operations were added to her responsibilities. In January 2016 Golf Operations, and in 2017 the RV Park were also added to her portfolio. Now she is the CEO.
Development Manager at Cheekye Ranch located in Squamish, Jeff is has a Master of Arts in Tourism Management at Royal Roads University and is an active member in the British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association as well as the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds. Sara owns Echo Lake Resort with her husband. Together, they operate a seasonal 28-site & 9-cabin campground with watercraft rentals and a retail store. Since leaving a 20+ year career in law enforcement and government work behind in 2022, she’s been dedicated to learning, analyzing, and stewarding Echo Lake Resort into a modern, sustainable business while protecting the pristine environment in which it is located.
Teresa is co-owner and managing director of Coombs Country Campground – a 34-acre, 100 site RV and tenting resort located near Parksville/Qualicum Beach. She joined the family business in 2019 after a 20-year career working in international development for the United Nations.
Tony Metivier is an experienced leader at Pathfinder Camp Resorts (Parksville), where he is dedicated to creating memorable outdoor experiences for families and adventurers. With a strong background in hospitality and recreation management and customer experience, Tony focuses on enhancing guest satisfaction and ensuring that each visit to the camp is enjoyable and enriching. His passion for the outdoors and commitment to environmental stewardship drive his initiatives to promote sustainable practices within the resort.
Stephen is the Regional Manager of Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities and works out of Riverside a Parkside Lifestyle Camping and RV Resort located in Whistler, B.C. After a brief and unsuccessful attempt to open a small Agritourism campground in southern Italy, Stephen returned to BC and fell into the campground industry with Parkbridge. Since 2019 Stephen has managed the Riverside Resort in Whistler before taking on responsibility in spring 2024 for all the Parkbridge resorts in Western Canada that encompasses 6 locations in both BC and Alberta.
Kimo is co-founder of ERTCU Travel Group and is serving as Director of En Route Travel Canada. A receptive tour operator, ERTCU is working as booking agent between campgrounds and other domestic tourism suppliers and International and Domestic Tour Operators specializing in packaged self-guided RV itineraries in Canada and the US. Previously Kimo served for 12 years at Canada’s largest RV Rental company, Fraserway RV, as dealership General Manager and Rentals Executive, and was responsible for National Rentals Operations.
The British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association represents the interests of independently owned and operated lodging, campgrounds, and RV parks and works for the betterment of these sectors of the tourism industry. The Association is a member of the Canadian Camping and RV Association, the national advocacy voice of campgrounds/RV parks across Canada.
