The Ideas Forum is designed to provide campground, RV Park, Lodging operators and managers with an inexpensive learning opportunity thanks to our sponsors and suppliers. It’s a chance to network with the sponsors, suppliers, fellow members and meet the volunteer board of directors. This is where ideas are discussed, knowledge is shared, and members’ questions answered!

2025 Western Ideas Forum November 3 – 6, 2025 – St Eugene Golf Resort Casino, Cranbrook

Jointly hosted by the BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) and the Canadian Camping and RV Association (CCRVA)—with support from our provincial partners in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba—this landmark event will bring together 80 – 100 campground and resort owners, RV park operators, and outdoor hospitality professionals from across Western Canada.

  • Day 1: Monday, November 3 – Campground and RV Park Tours of two properties. Includes refreshments, lunch and dinner.
  • Day 2: Tuesday, November 4 – AccomEx 2025 Trade Show,  Ideas Forum sessions, keynotes and BCLCA Annual General Meeting. Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the sessions all day.
  • Day 3: Wednesday, November 5 – Ideas Forum sessions and keynotes. Includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and the sessions all day.
  • Day 4: Breakfast final keynote speaker and the Forum wraps up – safe travels.
82nd Annual General Meeting November 4, 2025

The 82nd BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 4:00 pm. Only members in good standing can attend and vote at the BCLCA Annual General Meeting.

Speakers and Presenters 

Quality speakers are sprinkled throughout the agenda talking on a number of topics affecting the day-to-day operation of your business. These people are the industry experts in their field and can answer your burning questions. The full speaker line-up will be posted in September 2025. 

2025 Registration Details

There is a fee per person for BCLCA members and other non member businesses to attend. 

Onsite Delegates: Member rates per person to be announced July 2025.

Meals: The per person registration fee allows the onsite delegate to attend all sessions, keynotes, tabletop trade show, refreshments and meals as advertised.  The registration fee does not include accommodation.

Virtual: No virtual registrations just onsite in person delegates only.  Note the sessions onsite are not recorded.

Hotel: St Eugene Golf Resort Casino, Cranbrook room rates to be announced in July 2025.
